Ken was out on Saturday, helping the local kids to plant some flowerbeds around the estate. We've some photos of the day. There will be more flowerbeds over the next few weekends. If you feel like helping out, please feel free!

Latlorcan Flyover

Martin recently took a flight over Monaghan, and here is part of the resulting video. Sound removed because it was just engine noise.
First Residents' Association Elected

On the 3rd of September, the first Annual General Meeting for the Latlorcan Residents Association was convened.
Gerard Callan of County Monaghan Partnership stood in as a temporary chairperson to order the proceedings.
Garda Liaison Officer Noel Harraghy gave a ten-minute speech which described the Latlorcan neighbourhood from the perspective of a concerned officer. We were interested to hear of the issues he presented. Some that we already noted in previous preparatory meetings, but there were a few new potential concerns which we would need to take care of or watch out for.
Refreshments were provided by Sherry Fitzgerald Gallaghar. Robbie Gallaghar has been a great help so far and we thank him for that.
The elected officers were:
